ZELUS proudly announces the kick-off of the Digital Deep-tech Driven Circular Economy project (3D-CIRCULAR ( https://3d-circular.eu/) for short), an innovative and ambitious partnership of leading Higher Education Institutes, research, industrial and SME organisations, as well as policy making and certification bodies that aims to promote a European, digitally native, circular economy. The project delivers the organizational, technological and educational means for advancing the skills development capacity of the EU workforce in achieving the targets of the EU Green Deal and other policies and directives. Candidates will be trained in understanding key concepts and practices on the implementation of the digital and green transition and in exercising the use of relevant cutting-edge technologies towards the transition to a circular economy.

The objectives of the 3D-CIRCULAR project are highly aligned with ZELUS long-term strategic plan to deliver digital solutions and offer consulting and educational services for the sustainable development and the digital transformation of the EU business ecosystem. As such, we have already actively demonstrated our commitment to the successful implementation of this project, by extending the ZELUS management team with an expert in consulting and hands-on training of executives and employees from various industries on improving operational processes and employee reward mechanisms, creating and/or improving digital experiences and designing new business models with the aim of sustainable development and the transition to a circular economy. With more than 10 years of experience in designing, implementing and supporting solutions for the digital and green transition, the new ZELUS management member will be responsible for successfully delivering ZELUS’ role in the 3D-CIRCULAR project and will adapt the expected project results to the benefit of the company’s long-term business plans. The latter largely involve the ongoing ZELUS efforts to develop VÒNG (https://vong.app/) into a dynamic digital platform with solutions for the transformation of the textile industry. VÒNG is one of the flagship commercial offerings of ZELUS being offered in the Greek and the European markets developed as part of our sustainable digital solutions for the private and public sector organisations. 3D-CIRCULAR has received the STEP (Sovereignty) Seal (https://strategic-technologies.europa.eu/), a quality label awarded by the European Commission, for being a high-quality project proposal in a highly competitive evaluation process conducted by a panel of international experts, that contributes to the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) objectives. The 3D-CIRCULAR project is co-funded by the European Commission under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) and it will last till 2029.
