ZELUS Innovations Recognized by the EU Innovation Radar
We’re excited to share that two innovations we developed as part of the MARVEL project have been recognized by the EU Innovation Radar, a major milestone for us at ZELUS. These developments showcase our ongoing commitment to advancing smart city technologies and our dedication to creating solutions that help improve urban living.
Introducing the MARVEL Framework
One of the innovations that’s been highlighted is the MARVEL Framework, a cutting-edge Edge-to-Fog-to-Cloud computing system. What makes this system so exciting is its ability to process data in real-time, integrating things like audio and video to detect and recognize events as they occur in urban environments.
This real-time capability allows city authorities to respond quickly and effectively to challenges such as traffic management, public safety, and environmental monitoring. The fact that the Innovation Radar has classified this framework as “Tech Ready” speaks volumes about its potential and the hard work our team put into getting it to this stage.
SmartViz: Simplifying Complex Data
Another innovation we’re proud of is SmartViz, a powerful toolkit that makes it easier for city planners and administrators to work with big data. SmartViz turns complicated datasets into clear, visual insights, helping decision-makers make better, faster choices about everything from urban planning to resource allocation.
By presenting complex information in an easy-to-understand format, SmartViz empowers city leaders to focus on what really matters: improving quality of life for their residents. It’s been classified as “Market Ready” by the Innovation Radar, meaning it’s ready to be used in cities all over the world, helping tackle real challenges.
