(Re)Vestir Cascais
Cascais is tackling the challenge of textile waste through an innovative management system centered around a mobile app (Re)Vestir. This app actively engages citizens by improving data collection on clothing and household textile usage, raising awareness through gamification, and optimizing selective waste collection processes. The system promotes responsible disposal, ensuring that collected textiles are sustainably managed and given a second life. Citizens can track the destination of their donated items, increasing transparency and trust. The app also includes dedicated profiles for collectors and drivers, enabling efficient coordination and real-time operations. Additionally, it provides audit-ready data for the municipality to support monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of local circular economy practices.
Zelus role and contribution:

Additionally, Zelus leads the stakeholder engagement strategy to foster active participation and encourage widespread adoption of the solution. The company is also in charge of creating the solution’s brand identity, including its visual design and messaging, ensuring alignment with the project’s overall objectives.
