GreCO
The Green Cultural Oases (GreCO) project, led by the Municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli in Greece, is an innovative urban tourism initiative centered on the GreCO digital platform for mobile and web. By combining advanced technologies, community participation, and sustainable practices, GreCO enhances visitor experiences, safeguards cultural heritage, and supports local economic resilience. The project promotes a balanced, inclusive tourism model that benefits both residents and visitors, offering a forward-thinking blueprint for emerging urban destinations aiming to become sustainable and resilient tourism hubs.
Zelus role and contribution:
Zelus serves as the Technical Coordinator of GreCO, responsible for developing the ICT infrastructure, digital tools, and AI-driven analytics models. Zelus also implements secure, privacy-preserving digital applications that enable stakeholders to access tourism experiences, intercultural content, and thematic routes.
